I hope your cast member enjoyed our guest speaker this weekend. Noah Fields is a 17-year-old performer from Indianapolis who has performed in 19 shows! He is an amazing character actor and he shared a lot of good tips on how to develop a character.
This weekend we also ran the show from top to bottom for the first time and I have to say it went very well. We still have a few things to tweak and polish but we are in very good shape. That is due to all the hard work your cast member has put into this show. So make sure to give them a pat on the back!
This weekend is our last rehearsals at The Biz. Everyone is called to all rehearsals! We will be rehearsing in the Pink Room all weekend. Please bring/wear the shoes you are performing in from here on out. We need to get used to performing in the shoes we are wearing for the show. Also, if you still need to bring in costumes pieces please do so this weekend! Because we are in such good shape I have made a change to our long Sunday rehearsal.
This Saturday is the Avon Heritage Festival Parade. Parking is at Sycamore Elementary on the north-west corner of Dan Jones and 10th street. Sunday will be the last time we rehearse at The Biz. Beginning Monday, October 2nd we will be at our performance venue at Harmony Baptist Church 5697 Broyles Rd in Avon. Your cast member will need a plastic storage box to leave at the church during the entire run of the show. This box should have your cast members name clearly written on the box and the lid. It should be large enough to hold several costume pieces as well as the shoes your cast member is wearing in the show.
The cast party will be Sunday, October 8th after the matinee show at the large shelter at Washington Township Park. This will be a pitch in style dinner. Look for an email with a sign up soon.
You can purchase your tickets to see the show now Click Here for tickets
Now that we are getting close to tech week there will be more blogs and/or emails being sent. Please make sure you are reading all the information as it is all very important to the success of the show.
