Private Lessons
Level 1 Private Voice
All private lessons will be held at The Biz. A 30-minute lesson is $25 or $30, depending on the instructor. You are expected to pay for missed lessons unless previously arranged with the instructor, and at their discretion. Instructors may have a private lesson contract for you.
Allison Williamson – Private Voice Teacher
Allison is currently recovering from injuries she sustained from a car accident. We will let you know when she is available to teach again.
Allison Williamson graduated from Indiana State University majoring in music education with a concentration in voice. She has been an active member in the community theatre scene, and graduated from Danville High school in 2015. She has been in multiple Biz productions, including Jekyll and Hyde the Musical in 2018 where she played Emma Carew. She is now a Director, Music Director, Instructor, and Voice Teacher at The Biz. Allison teaches elementary music in Mooresville and is ecstatic to further her teaching career with The Biz!

Joey VanHooser – Private Voice Teacher
Joey VanHooser graduated from Butler University majoring in Music Education with a choral and voice focus. He has been a performer in many musicals in the surrounding area, including shows at The Biz. His favorites include Shrek in Shrek the Musical, Scar in The Lion King, and Fred Casely in the Southeastern Southern Theatre Institute’s production of Chicago. Joey has been singing for as long as he can remember and is so excited to share his love of performing, singing, and music with his students and to help them become even better
performers!
Joey is available to teach high school-aged students and offers both half hour ($30) and full hour ($50) lesson options.
